Work for Us

We're always on the lookout for talented writers, journalists and voice-artists to join our team. We give work to individual freelancers on a regular basis, and if you're right for a specific job, we may be able to give you work.

If you'd like to be considered to join our team, please read the following information very carefully. Please supply everything on the checklist below. We get several applications each day, and those which don't conform to the checklist just get thrown away. We love hearing from you, but you have to help us too!

Who will we accept?

Whilst we are happy to take approaches through this site, please note that we are not interested in everyone. Firstly, you must be an established writer or journalist with a demonstrable track record, in print and/or online. We regret that we are unable to accommodate students or those just embarking on a career in the written word. If you are new to writing, we recommend you try Freelancers.net.

You also need to demonstrate that you are either operating as a limited company, or a self-employed person with your tax affairs handled by a certified accountancy practice. You must be a resident of the United Kingdom.

Checklist

There is an email link below. Please only use this address to tell us about yourself; we do not accept telephone enquiries. When you construct your email, please ensure that you include all of the following:

Your name, address and contact numbers
At least two examples of commissioned written work, ideally in different styles and for different clients. Word and PDF formats are preferred.
A biography and CV
Your specialist areas of expertise
Your standard dayrate or charge per 1000 words
